Having
origins in Ardèche and in Savoie, Adeline CHABERT-BOUE was born
in Voiron, near Grenoble. Never staying in one place for too long, she
and her family spent time in Dauphiné, Jura, South of France, Brittany,
Massif Central and the greater Lyon area. After graduating from secondary
school in Lyons she was appointed as a civil servant in Rouen, Normandy,
where she still resides. As a devotee of the beautifully depicted skies
of Eugène BOUDIN, she fed her artistic dreams with the scents of
southern France. In 1955 she was finally able to register at the Beaux-Arts
of Rouen where she began to cultivate her passion for drawing and painting.
A many time prize and medal winner, she generally exhibits in Normandy
and Brittany
