Every artist has his mysteries; all creators weave to a greater or lesser extent their magic upon us, and yet in both respects Emmanuel DILHAC goes a step further. This pleasant, kind man has always shown a propensity for enigmas of the mind, and for deeply researching into what is unique in different artistic genres. He has unleashed over several decades his originality in this domain, which assures perennial interest in the talent of this builder of art, this earthy painter and sculptor, this ingenious conceiver of matter and colour and sound. Emmanuel DILHAC never fails to surprise us, appealing to everyone through questioning his fellow art-lovers by means of his “rhythmic painting”. Rarely was an exchange so fruitful, thanks to the diversity of brush-stroke and broadness of mind.
